The Blue Basics

I am a huge fan of the basics - t-shirts, jeans, button downs, and sneakers. But whenever sticking to a classic outfit like this one, I like to add a little pop. In this case, I thought it would be fun to add a pop of red to the outfit. The shoes help make the outfit exciting and bold! This spring as there are a lot of colorful/ patterned shoes coming out, I recommend picking up a pair you love and wearing them when you need to spice up your more simplistic outfits!

The One-Shoulder Top

I've been really obsessed with the one-shoulder top trend lately. It is cool and different. I love this shirt because it is perfect for day to night. Mom jeans and sneakers during the day and a black, suede skirt and heels at night. The one-shoulder top is a fun way to change-up a classic outfit.

Back in the City

I took the day to window shop around Fifth Avenue wearing the casual day essentials - suede jacket, high waisted jeans, and striped shirt. AND this was the first day in a long time that I didn't have to wear a heavy coat to stay warm! Hooray for spring!
